Effective from December 10, 2006, Air China will fly between Beijing and Sao Paulo via Madrid twice a week with the new services to be operated by a Boeing 767 aircraft.
Every Thursday & Sunday, Air China flight CA907 will depart Beijing at 01:00, then touch down in Madria at 06:45. After a 90-minute stopover in Madria, the flight will continue its trip onto Sao Paulo with scheduled arrival time at 16:05 the same day.
For the return service back to Beijing, Air China flight CA908 will leave Sao Paulo at 20:45, and arrive in Madrid at 09:55 next day. After a stopover for 1 hour 40 minutes, the flight will continue its service back to Beijing with touch down at 06:20 next morning. This Sao Paulo-outbound service will operate every Thursday & Sunday as well.
This new route will mark the first ever services to South America's Brazil by a mainland Chinese airline.
