China Eastern Airlines has launched an online check-in service for domestic flights departing from Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
Using this service, passengers who buy electronic air tickets for domestic flights departing from Shanghai Pudong International Airport can log onto China Eastern's website to choose their flight, input personal information, select their favorite seat, and print an A4-sized paper boarding pass. At the airport they can go directly to the security screening check-point with their ID if no luggage needs to be checked in.
Passengers who need to check-in luggage or who have lost their original boarding pass can go to the airport's online check-in counter to have the luggage checked in or to get a new boarding pass.
