Orlando International Airport has reported that its domestic passenger count dropped by 8.51 percent in April, but international traffic increased by 7.44 percent, resulting in an overall decline of 7.26 percent.
The state's largest passenger airport had 2.8 million domestic travelers during the month and nearly 281,000 international travelers. The overall passenger count was 3.08 million, which marked the second consecutive month the airport posted traffic topping 3 million, the first time that has happened since June and July of last year.
For the year, domestic passenger traffic is down 12.4 percent to about 10.56 million, while international traffic is up 1.24 percent to a little more than 1 million.
