Jet engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney said on June 15 that it has signed a three-year US$75 million parts repair agreement with Japan Airlines.
Under the agreement, Pratt & Whitney will provide Japan Airlines part repair services for the airline's JT9D and PW4000 engines.
JAL Group's airlines serve 220 airports in 35 countries and territories, including 59 airports in Japan.
Pratt & Whitney is part of United Technologies Corp., which is based in Hartford, Conn.
