Pratt & Whitney said on June 15 that it won a US$233 million contract to supply engines for 22 new Airbus A320s and A321s to be flown by Air China.
The engine maker, a unit of United Technologies Corp., said the contract includes a long-term aftermarket agreement.
Air China already operates the same engine, the V2500, on 12 A319s.
The Air China deal was the third announced by Pratt & Whitney on June 15 at the Paris Air Show.
The company also said that it signed a three-year, US$75 million parts repair agreement with Japan Airlines, and a US$300 million deal for engines for six new Airbus A330 aircraft for Korean Air.
United Technologies shares fell US$1.31, or 2.4 percent, to US$54.53 in midday trading.
