Subject Concerned: Government Airlines Air Travel in China
Recently, Wang Jing, a divisional chief in charge of aviation development at the Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission, was asked by a local media about the possibility of a prospective non-stop flight route between Chongqing and UK, according to information gathered by CARNOC.com.
It's understood by CARNOC.com that Wang Jing acknowledged the fact that the existing passenger demand is insufficient and this makes non-stop passenger flight service between Chongqing and almost any European country largely unfeasible and extremely difficult at present or in the near future.
However, in response to the media query, Wang Jing also mentioned that the municipal government is now working closely with airlines, travel agencies and other relevant aviation organizations to actively encourage the launching of more international flights connecting Chongqing with the rest of the world.
