Airline pilots in Europe are protesting against long flying hours which they say are putting lives at risk.
Aircrew unions protesting in Brussels argued that the financial crisis had led to dangerous work practices in the name of cost cutting.
They handed out pretend boarding passes to the public carrying health warnings.
Demonstrators argue that fatigue is a factor in 15 per cent of airline accidents.
European Union laws, which are due to be rolled out throughout the 27 member states, mean that a pilot can work up to 14 hours a day.
