China Eastern Airlines has agreed to invest up to 352 million yuan (US$52 million) into the construction of the new Hefei Xinqiao International Airport in China's eastern province of Anhui, the firm said in a statement on Dec. 22.
China Eastern and the Anhui Civil Aviation Airport Group signed a cooperation agreement in the construction of various sections of the new international airport in Hefei, including the air freight area as well as the inflight meals preparation area.
