Belite Aircraft will reveal two new versions of its ultralight aircraft at the annual U.S. Sport Aviation Expo beginning Jan. 19 in Sebring, Fla.
The Wichita-based company will be showing off a new Trike and Superlite model of its existing Belite 254 FAR 103 aircraft, which owners James and Kathy Wiebe renamed and began marketing in June after purchasing the production rights to the Kitfox Lite aircraft.
The new Belite Trike has an enhanced landing system, while the Superlite offers more performance than the current model.
"As we've interacted with operators and prospects in this market segment, we've learned what people want, and we've taken their suggestions and input seriously," James Wiebe said in a written release. "At Belite, we've been able to adapt and refine our designs to create aircraft and kit options to make flying available to a broader audience."
