Air Freight Asia (AFA), the region's premier air cargo and logistics event, will be cooperating with Payload Asia, the region's most respected publication for the airfreight industry, to co-organize the conference for the forthcoming Air Freight Asia 2011 Exhibition in March in Hong Kong. Air Freight Asia 2011 will once again be staged alongside Asian Aerospace 2011.
Together with Asian Aerospace, Air Freight Asia 2009 in Hong Kong was a huge success despite the challenges faced by the industry in the world's worst economic crisis. The event drew over 12,600 attendees, 2,200 members of the airlines and over 340 media.
"With a publishing track record over the last 25 years, Payload Asia is the region's authoritative source for news and information on the air cargo industry. We believe this partnership will bring meaningful results and build an even stronger foundation for future development of the event," said Preecha S. Chen, President of Reed Exhibitions Greater China.
David Lim, the veteran project director of Reed Exhibitions will lead the organization of AFA 2011, supported by Jellis Kan, the project manager for the event. Reed Exhibitions' International Sales Group will be actively marketing the event through its extensive global network of sales offices and agents. Nol Van Fenema has successfully completed his term of service with Reed Exhibitions and he will no longer be involved in Air Freight Asia. Nol founded and sold Air Freight Asia to Reed Exhibitions three years ago.
The Air Freight Asia Conference & Exhibition is the leading B2B trade event for the air cargo and logistics industry in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Since 2007 it has been co-located with Asian Aerospace Expo and Congress, at the AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong.
The next edition of Asian Aerospace/Air Freight Asia will take place at the same venue from March 8-10, 2011.
