Beijing: Airport Police Vow to Cut Thefts

Police at Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA) said on Jan. 28 that 10 thefts were reported to have taken place at the airport since Jan. 1, four of which happened on shuttle buses to the airport.

Police have vowed to tighten security measures as the Spring Festival travel season approaches, such as deploying plainclothes officers on airport shuttle buses.
