Subject Concerned: Airport
On July 2, Los Angeles International Airport was under a security alert after a man told officials he was carrying explosives, officials said.
Roads leading to the airport's Tom Bradley International Terminal were closed as bomb squads inspected an unattended bag near a ticket counter, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) said.
The TSA statement said a man had been arrested and that a perimeter had been established where the bag was found out of "an abundance of caution."
The Bradley terminal was not evacuated and airport officials said flights were not immediately affected.
