ST Aerospace has signed a global cooperation agreement with GE Aviation.
Under the agreement, the two companies will cooperate in areas including engine maintenance, repair, material services and aircraft support solutions.
In a statement, ST Aerospace said the agreement will bring it closer to being a maintenance provider.
GE and ST Aerospace have also signed a 10-year component repair licence agreement covering a variety of engines.
GE will grant ST Aerospace access to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) data and technical information.
GE will also provide technical assistance to facilitate ST Aerospace's parts repair capabilities development.
In a statement, GE said this agreement will enable ST Aerospace to expand its global business and provide its customers with high-quality OEM materials and technology.
GE Aviation is the world's leading provider of commercial and military jet engines.
