Subject Concerned: Airport
Mexican airport operator GAP said on Jul. 8 that its June passenger traffic fell 4.8 percent, hurt by fewer flights and the cancellation of some routes as airlines struggle amid high fuel prices.
It was the third straight month of passenger traffic declines for GAP, which operates 12 airports along the Pacific coast region including terminals at Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos and Tijuana.
Passenger numbers dropped 0.5 percent in May and 5.3 percent in April.
