Queensland-based Flight Training Australia (FTA), a recognized and government-accredited flight training provider offering courses from ab-initio training through to ATPL and catering for both domestic and international students, has recently been chosen to participate in a special export mission to China during the Olympic Games.
The wholly owned subsidiary of the Flight Ideas group was awarded a "Win Business Gold in China" in the Telstra Business - Austrade Beijing Olympics Visitation Program for its long-term strategic investment and outstanding commitment to the Chinese business market for services rendered to the aviation industry.
The Telstra Business - Austrade Beijing Olympics Visitation Program aims to help Australian small businesses build export contacts and business relationships during the Olympic Games. FTA was the only Australian organization to obtain such an accolade within the aviation industry, which was judged by statutory agency within the Foreign Affairs and Trade portfolio - Austrade, and one of Australia's largest multinational corporations - Telstra.
