On July 27, the first Olympic charter flight, which carried Cuban athletes, landed safely at Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA) in the morning.
It also signaled the opening of the T3D section of the airport's third terminal (T3), which has an annual capacity of 4.12 million passengers.
Passengers arriving on Olympic charter flights have been arranged to quickly undergo necessary procedures and validate their Olympic certificates in T3D.
