Subject Concerned: Airlines Airport
The Cook Islands' only domestic air service has drawn up a "no fly list" with the names of islanders who they deem to be a security risk to the airline.
The Islands Airports Authority says Air Rarotonga's "no fly list" was created after some residents on the tourist island of Aitutaki began protesting against Sunday flights seven weeks ago.
Protesters are demanding Sunday flights be stopped because of religious observances.
Air Rarotonga is trialing flights to Aitutaki on Sundays in a bid to boost the tourism industry.
