Australia's Transport Workers Union says it is unacceptable that a bag with "bomb" written on it was able to get past security at Brisbane's domestic airport.
The bag was found by Qantas staff on an outgoing passenger luggage ramp.
The union's Geoff Bowes says there should be a review of security at the airport.
"The fact that a piece of luggage with bomb clearly written on it has been able to get into the baggage makeup area of a secure airport in this country is just another slap in the face for aviation workers and the travelling public," he said.
