Subject Concerned: Airlines Flight Delay
On Sep. 14, Japanese airline All Nippon Airways canceled 45 domestic flights due to a computer system glitch, affecting at least 6,000 passengers.
No international flights were impacted by the incident, the airline said.
The problem was discovered on the morning of Sep. 14 in the computer system that handles domestic ticket reservations and check-in, the airline said. The system was restored by noon.
As of 3 pm (06:00GMT), 45 domestic flights were canceled and many other flights were delayed, of which, 12 were two hours or longer behind the schedule, the airline said, adding more flights could be canceled later.
