Subject Concerned: Aircrew   Airlines   Flight Delay

All Nippon Airways said on Oct. 24 that four more flight delays have been reported in the past two months due to detection of alcohol on the breath of its cockpit crew members, on top of one incident that led to a delay in a domestic flight on Oct. 22.

All four cases emerged after ANA renewed its alcohol-detecting system on Aug. 18, the airline said.

The four include two international flights - one from Kansai airport near Osaka to Dalian, China, on Aug. 21 and the other from Narita airport to New York on Aug. 26.

The remaining two were domestic flights - one from Osaka to Niigata on Aug. 23 and the other from Sapporo to Narita on Sep. 6, ANA said.
