Subject Concerned: Airlines   Human Resource   Flight Delay   Airport   Air Travel in China

Dragonair advises passengers that baggage handling services at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) are resuming to normal.

The loading and unloading of baggage on flights arriving and departing HKIA was affected earlier this afternoon as a result of a 3-hour industrial action taken by staff of ground services handler Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (HAS). Some flights were being delayed or cancelled as a result of this.

HAS staff later resumed work at 16.00 Hong Kong time, allowing baggage operations to resume normal, and those bags earlier left behind in Hong Kong are now being forwarded as soon as possible to their intended destination.

Dragonair regrets the inconvenience caused to its passengers as a result of the industrial action by staff of its ground handling agent and appeal to their understanding.

Passengers can check the latest flight information at www.dragonair.com.
